A Greek-Swabian restaurant near the Wilhelma in Stuttgart. Cozy, with football TV broadcast. Kitchen more Swabian than Greek, but good. Tasty salads, very good onion roast. Directly at the subway stop Rotensteinbrücke.

A little out of the way near the neckar river close to the wilhelma Zoo food is great closed on sundays.

The food there is delicious, we loved the hungarian soup and goulash with dumplings The landlady is very nice and accommodating, but I have to give a star deduction after we were not asked by the service help if we want to eat something and ask for the map. Otherwise highly recommended!

We had the hunter schnitzel for lunch. The amount was lush, but unfortunately it did not taste as expected. The fries had a funny, own taste, very different than usual and unfortunately not at all tasty. There was some weird spice or oil / fat used for baking. Likewise the hunter sauce. This tasted nothing at all to a usual roast (cream) sauce with mushrooms to do, but consisted of a funny brown and a second, milky sauce. Overall, she tasted more like a foreign dish. Overall, a pity. The staff was very friendly and the price was really great.

My chop steak unfortunately came from the deep fryer, but for the filled chicken breast that my wife had, there was a large and tasty salad. There are several types of beer out of the bottle. 3 TVs in the room for sports, if you like.

Originally, our plan was to visit Rosensteinpark, and, maybe, even a zoo. However, we thought, that maybe before we go to the park - we try to eat first in that tiny restaurant. We had Fleischkäse and XXL-schnitzel, and now we are totally sure it was the right choice. No Rosensteinpark for me anymore, whenever I go that direction in Stuttgart, I rather go to this restaurant. :)

I was lucky enough to find this great little restraunt while on a business trip in Stuttgart. This is a quiet little family run restraunt with some of the best home cooked food I've ever eaten. I can't wait to travel back to Stuttgart so I can go back to the Alter Hasen!
